May 2020 Tarot Reading

Welcome to the May tarot reading! This is a general reading to give us an idea of what types of energies and situations we may encounter during the month. Now that we’ve had some time to adjust to the lifestyle changes brought about by the pandemic, May will be a more settled and stable month. Plus with the weather improving as spring starts to get into full swing, the change in season will help brighten our mood and outlook.

The first card is the Eight of Swords. This is an energy lingering from the end of April and will dissipate in early May. The suit of swords represents mental energy and our thought process. You may have felt like your senses are blocked or have a feeling of being trapped or stuck. There may be influences outside of your control contributing to this state of mind, but ultimately you can change how you view the situation and find a way to escape the mental stalemate. Focus on what you can control and do your best in those areas, knowing that this energy is temporary and will be fading away soon.

The second card is the Ten of Cups. This is a beautiful card showing a happy family standing outside under a rainbow. This card heralds joy, contentment, a happy home or even a new home, a visit to the countryside, and emotional peace. Whichever one (or more) of these show up for you, it will be a lovely thing.

The third card is the Page of Cups. This could represent a person in your life, and if so he will be a young man with effeminate traits. This man will have a caring spirit and be helpful to you. This card can also represent a new venture that will bring you emotional fulfillment, the advent of spring in full bloom, as well as the sign of Pisces. The energy of this card is light and happy, which bodes well for all of us.

To summarize, the beginning of May might feel mentally tense and stressful as we release leftover energies from April. This won’t persist for long as we then have the energy of the cups suit arrive and remain for the rest of the month, allowing it to be easier to feel happy and content. Life will feel more playful and carefree.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a beautiful month, and please visit again for the June forecast. Take care.
