May 2019 Tarot Reading

Hello, my lovely friends! Spring is in (almost) full swing here in upstate NY, and with the warmer weather and new blossoms comes a revitalizing energy to help awaken us from our winter hibernation. I hope all of you are also feeling energized with the fresh newness of the season.

For May I pulled three cards from the Angel Tarot deck to give us insight into the month ahead: King of Earth, Ten of Air, and The Empress. Let’s dive into each of these cards and what it means for the month of May.

The King of Earth is representative of someone who has mastered the material realm. This could show up in your life as a new job offer, financial success, purchasing a new home, or that feeling that everything you touch turns to gold. You will feel like abundance is falling into your lap, and it is!

The Ten of Air tells us that something in your life has recently ended. Whatever this thing was - a relationship, job, or housing situation are just a few examples - it had been causing you a lot of mental pain and anguish. The good news is that this situation is completely over and done with, and now you have the ability to leave it behind and head to a new and better place. Release any old, tiring, and worrying energy, and be ready to embrace a new opportunity that is better suited for you.

The Empress is about abundance, fertility, and manifesting your dreams. Being a major arcana card, this means it’s something significant happening in your life, such as a pregnancy, new creative endeavor, new career, or starting a business or non-profit. It is a time to enjoy success in all parts of your life.

To sum things up, in May you will have left a troubling situation in the past. If you need a bit of time to recover from it, by all means do so, but make sure to keep a lookout for all the abundance heading your way. Things will be turning around quickly for you, and where once you were dreading a situation that was mentally taxing, now you will be embracing a new opportunity that will give you financial and/or material stability and more abundance than you previously anticipated. Just as the springtime brings new life to the earth, your life will be renewing itself and bringing bright and happy changes to your world. Celebrate and enjoy, you deserve it!

Recently I’ve been feeling very drawn to using a more traditional tarot card deck, so coming soon you may be seeing some of my readings using the Universal Waite Tarot. I’m excited to try out this new-to-me deck of cards and see how it affects the readings I do. I’m also interested to hear what you think about the cards. Abundance and blessings to you, and I’ll talk with you soon.
